Aurora Teagarden Mysteries See Real Life Daughters Join Cast

Aurora Teagarden Mysteries is set to return this month in Haunted By Murder with two very special guest stars.

Haunted by Murder sees a murder investigation reignited at an infamous address. Lawrenceton locals consider that house haunted. Years ago in Aurora and Sally, as teenagers discoveed a body there.

As the simple synopsis above states Aurora (Candace Cameron Bure) and Sally (Lexa Doig) found a body in the property when they were teenagers. Who better to play the younger versions of these two best friends in the flashback than their real life daughters. Natasha Bure plays the teenage Aurora while Mia Shanks plays the teenage Sally Allison.

Proud mother Doig posted to her Social Media with a short trailer and gushing words for her daughter:

This is Mia’s first role, her father is actor Michael Shanks known best for Stargate SG1.

Candace had this to say about her daughter Natasha in an interview conducted last year with Heavy.

She’s made a consorted effort to make sure that she does this on her own, she gets everything because she works hard, and not because she is riding on my coattails in any way, which is really why she doesn’t want to work with me.

Natasha has had a number of roles with 10 credits to her name currently. They include Switched For Christmas and Fuller House where she appeared with her mother.
