Sabrina Spellman/Morningstar is on her way to Riverdale to add a little magic to that downtrodden town.
This is a crossover event that fans had been clamouring for even before Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premiered. While CAOS has already ended it is easy to see that there is more than enough interest still.
We learn more about what storyline prompts the visit from showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.
“We’ve been talking about having Sabrina visit Riverdale since season 1, so it’s thrilling that this is finally happening, as part of our Riverdale special event. It’s also perfect that she shows up to help Cheryl Blossom during her hour of greatest need. Everyone on set lost their minds — I think fans will, too. It’s really fun and special.”Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Riverdale showrunner
The storyline lasts for five episodes and is linked to the events at the end of season 5.
Sabrina is set to appear in episode four of the drama’s new season titled “The Witching Hour(s),”. She will be assisting Cheryl to perform a dangerous spell that may mean the difference between life and death for a beloved member of the Blossom family…
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
