Toronto Film & TV Production In March

Join us as we break down some of the TV and Film productions currently taking place in Toronto this month.

First up we have Sci-Fi thriller Hello Stranger starring Luke Grimes and Jordana Brewster. We announced Simu Liu’s casting here for this film. It follows a widow coping with the loss of her husband and turning to technology to try and bring him back to her.

Next is Titans, based on the DC superhero team the show is currently filming season four. The show stars Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Ryan Potter and Teagan Croft. It follows Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing as he forms his own young team of heroes. Filming will extend through Summer.

Medical drama Good Sam is filming its last few episodes this month. The production began in October 2021. The show stars Jason Isaacs and Sophia Bush. It follows an arrogant doctor who awakens from a coma and now has to work with his daughter at the same hospital. Good Sam airs on CBS in the US and Global in Canada.

Sex/Life the raunchy comedy from Netflix starring Sarah Shahi is currently filming in Toronto. The show follows a mother and wife, Billie, as she reminisces with a flame from her past who unexpectedly reappears in her life. It will film on location until sometime in May.

In The Dark the sleeper hit from the CW network. The show is a mystery series that follows a young blind woman named Murphy (Perry Mattfeld). Murphy lives recklessly, which has proven to get her in trouble from time to time but steps up to investigate when her friend is murdered. In The Dark airs on the CTV Drama channel in Canada.
