Departure returns for a brand new action packed investigation for Season 3 this summer on Global.
The Canadian Original drama follows aa crack team of investigators led by Kendra Malley (Archie Panjabi). Every season the team tackle a new investigation work to sort truth from conspiracy while the world watches on.
Season 3 follows the investigation into the sinking of a sea ferry, The Queen of the Narrows. It’s a beautiful day in Boston when almost 500 passengers board the ferry destined for Newfoundland, Canada. A few hours into the journey an “explosion” onboard throws passengers into a panic. Leaving them rushing for lifeboats as the ferry takes on water with alarming speed.
What unfolds for the majority of the passengers is an unimaginable nightmare. The explosion results in serious loss of life as the ship sinks in record time. The investigation team begin to unravel the many tangled threads of the investigation all in search of one answer: why did the Queen of the Narrows suddenly sink to the bottom of the sea?
Departure Season 3 sets sail Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT starting August 7.

Hey Kerry, you can watch the first two seasons on Peacock and I think it will probably end up there. I suspect that it will be out around the same time as the Canadian release. I’ll keep checking. Thanks for visiting.
How can you make a show without checking how you pronounce the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. It’s pronounced like “understand” with the emphasis on “and” In Canada you say: understAND NewfoundlAND.
