Hallmark’s hit new family drama The Way Home is currently filming season two on location in Scarborough, Ontario.
The Way Home tells the story of three generations of Landry women. They are the survivors of an unfathomable family tragedy. Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh) left her home town, married and had a daughter. Now, she is divorced and bringing her 15-year-old daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) to her small Canadian hometown of Port Haven. There is where her mom Del (Andie Macdowell) lives. This is also where her childhood friend Elliot lives.
After Alice’s and Kat’s time-travelling adventures through the pond, season one ends with Kat discovering that not only is she responsible for the crash that killed her father Colton, but she is also the mysterious woman at his funeral with whom Del thought her husband was having an affair.
The show stars Chyler Leigh, Andie MacDowell, Sadie Laflamme-Snow., Evan Williams, Alex Hook, Al Mukadam, Jefferson Brown, David Webster, and Siddarth Sharma.
Filming runs from 21 August 2023 through to 6 December 2023. We believe, but it has not officially announced that Hallmark obtained an interim agreement which would allow for SAG-AFTRA members to take part in production.
The Way Home Season 2 will air sometime in 2024 on the Hallmark Channel.
