The wait is nearly over, Hallmark Channel has announced the premiere date for Season 2 of The Way Home.
The Way Home tells the story of three generations of strong and independent women. Kat Landry (Supergirl vet Leigh), her teen daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow), and Kat’s mother Del (Cedar Cove‘s MacDowell).
The show is currently filming in Scarborough, Ontario with that expended to end in early December. It stars Chyler Leigh, Andie MacDowell, Sadie Laflamme-Snow., Evan Williams, Alex Hook, Al Mukadam, Jefferson Brown, David Webster, Siddarth Sharma.
The Way Home was the most-watched program on entertainment cable among Households, Women and Persons 18+, and Total Viewers. The show also generated Hallmark’s largest ever audience figures – 6.8 million unduplicated viewers.
Lisa Hamilton Daly, EVP of Programming for Hallmark Media released the following statement with the renewal announcement in March ‘23.
“The press and our audience have enthusiastically embraced The Way Home from the first episode, making the decision to renew the series an easy one. We’re thrilled to be able to continue the journey of the Landry family and can’t wait for fans to see what’s next.”
This Way Home Season 2 returns on 21 January 2023 on Hallmark Channel.
