Katherine McNamara (Walker: Independence) is returning to Hallmark with a new mystery, True Justice: Family Ties.
A law student gets the biggest case of her life when her brother is wrongfully convicted of a murder. The court room mystery’s cast also includes Marisa McIntyre, Markian Tarasiuk, Sabrina Saudin, Alexander Nunez, Sam Ashe Arnold, Benjamin Ayres and Nikki DeLoach.
Synopsis
Casey (McNamara), a law school student, is on a mission to prove her brother Marcus (Sam Ashe Arnold, Are You Afraid of the Dark?) was wrongfully convicted of murdering her friend from college. Casey turns to her classmates Eli (Tarisuk), Sarah (Marisa McIntyre, Chucky), PJ (Sabrina Saudin, The Boys) and their P.I. friend Liam to help find the real killer. With a tip from her Professor (DeLoach), Casey and her friends begin to put pieces together, but the closer they get to discovering the truth, the more they ALL begin to question their own safety.
Cast
Katherine McNamara is famous for her starring role in the TV adaption of Best Selling YA series The Mortal Instruments, Shadowhunters. She went on to join the cast of CW’s Arrowverse playing the daughter of Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak.
Nikki DeLoach co-stars and is also the co-writer of this project alongside writing partner Megan McNulty. DeLoach stars in her own Hallmark Mystery series, Curious Caterer which will have at least two more instalments.
