Shemar Moore S.W.A.T. Season 7 Interview

Hollywood North News got the chance to sit down with Shemar Moore star and executive producer on S.W.A.T. ahead of its Season 7 premiere.

S.W.A.T. returns for Season 7 premiering on Friday 16 February at 9pm on Global. The show airs on CBS in the US. The season premiere sees the team head to Mexico on a mission to bring back a fugitive who escaped Hondo years earlier. Things quickly become much more complicated than a simple escort mission.

We sat down with Moore who is very much gunning for the show to go on after Season 7. During the interview we spoke about his career, the challenges of being a show lead and much more. The passion for the show and everyone involved was plain to see during our talk.

The show was briefly cancelled by CBS but the network went back on their decision thanks to a campaign by fans and Shemar Moore himself. You can take a look at an excellent explanation of how the decision came to be reversed here.

Season 7 itself though isn’t messing around though as you can check out in the trailer below. The first episode has a scary cliffhanger that hints at the stakes for this season.
