The next Colleen Hoover adaption Reminders of Him is set to film in Calgary.

Despite all the controversy surrounding the film It Ends With Us, it proved a huge hit. So it was only a matter of time before more of her novels were adapted.
After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself. The only person who hasn’t closed the door on her completely is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner.
What We Know
Vanessa Caswill steps into the director’s chair for this adaption, Colleen Hoover and Lauren Levine wrote the script. Hoover and Levine also produce the project. Calgary filming will run from 15 April 2025 to 13 June 2025.
Unfortunately no casting details have been revealed as of yet. It Ends With Us made $350 million at the box office at a time when generally cinema attendance has been very disappointing for the industry. You can look into the controversy and legal fallout between its director Justin Baldoni and star Blake Lively elsewhere. Though it is interesting that currently Reminders of Him is set to air before the court case begins next year.
Reminders of Him already has a theatrical release date of 13 February 2026, just in time for Valentine’s Day next year.
