The new trailer for Forbidden Fruits starring Lili Reinhart and Lola Tung has dropped.

The bonds between a clique of millennial Momfluencers are tested when their individual secrets are exposed and threaten their highly curated way of life. Free Eden employee Apple secretly runs a witchy femme cult in the basement of the mall store after hours with fellow fruits Cherry and Fig. But when new hire Pumpkin challenges their ‘girl boss’ ways, the women will have to face their own poisons or succumb to a bloody fate.
The film is an adaptation of the play Of the Women Came the Beginning of Sin and Through Her We All Die. Lily Houghton wrote the play with Kylie M. Brown directing.
Forbidden Fruits stars Lili Reinhart, Victoria Pendretti, Lola Tung, Alexandra Shipp and Emma Chamberlain.
Meredith Alloway makes her directorial debut here, with Alloway and Lily Houghton co-writing the script. IFC Films and AMC Networks’ horror streamer Shudder acquired the U.S. and Canadian rights for the film. Filming for the thriller took place in Toronto running from 10 March 2025 through to 4 April 2025.
The film will receive a 2026 theatrical release.
Director Meredith Alloway speaking on the deal with IFC Films:
“I’m so grateful to have found a home for Forbidden Fruits with IFC Films. A studio who continually encourages filmmakers to experiment, hone their voice, and play within the medium. IFC Films has produced and distributed so many films that have directly inspired me over the years. The team has gifted me creative freedom and support in every step of the process, down to advocating for a theatrical release — a true gift to any filmmaker.”
