STERLING POINT Handed Season 2 Renewal By Prime Video

Prime Video has renewed YA drama Sterling Point for a Season 2 less than a month after its debut.

Sterling Point Season 1 centers on 17-year-old Annie Jacobson (Ella Rubin). Raised in New York City with her twin brother Connor (Keen Ruffalo) and loving adoptive father Steven (Jay Duplass). Annie’s life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romances and untold family secrets.

The renewal move shows Prime Video’s positioning to be the first streamer we think of for YA offerings. The streamer recently renewed Off Campus and Every Year After both for Season 2. The latter news coming at their special YA event Obsessed Fest, while the former received its renewal before its debut.

Co-showrunner and executive producer Megan Park had this to say:

“It’s been an absolute joy to see the appreciation and love for the show. We worked so hard to make the show as authentic as possible and to see audiences respond to that has been thrilling. We cannot wait to dive deeper into these characters and deliver the best second season ever.”

The show stars Amélie Hoeferle as Ramona, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie as Ellis, Daniel Quinn Toye as Rory, Bo Bragason as Oona, Mabel Strachan as Maple, Nikko Angelo Hinayo as Sully, Missi Pyle as Rory’s mother Denise, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Joe, and Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers as Kate.

Filming on Sterling Point Season 1 took place in Toronto and ran from 23 June 2025 through to 7 October 2025. Producers on this project include Megan Park, Lucky Chap, Josh Schwartz, Stephanie Savage, Fake Empire, Amazon MGM Studios.
