Netflix romance Return To You is filming now in Toronto with Lindsay Lohan and Henry Golding set as leads.

Set in 2008, Return to You follows a powerful but lonely female attorney (Lindsay Lohan) who mistakenly receives a very emotional DVD sent by a dying woman to her husband (Henry Golding). With only the clues from the DVD as her guide, she sets out to find him.

Netflix have been stepping up their romance game in recent years. In fact, they recently cast Lohan in their 2024 romance Irish Wish. They also had a recent viral hit with their Christmas themed romcom Hot Frosty starring fellow Mean Girls alumni Lacey Chabert.

Golding recently starred in Nicole Kidman’s Nine Perfect Strangers as Peter. Netflix fans will recognise him from The Old Guard 2 where he played Tuah.

Mark Waters is the director with a script from Eric Champnella. Waters directed two iconic Lohan-starring blockbusters: Freaky Friday and Mean Girls. He has also helmed three Netflix romances: He’s All That, Mother of the Bride, and La Dolce Villa.
