The latest adaptation of Stephen King’s Carrie has completed production in Vancouver.

Mike Flanagan is the showrunner on the project which is his latest horror production. It is also far from the first time that Flanagan will be adapting the work of Stephen King. Previously he worked on the sequel to the Shining, Doctor Sleep as well as Gerald’s Game and The Life of Chuck.
Carrie is a reimagining of the story of misfit high-schooler Carrie White (Summer H. Howell), who has spent her life in seclusion with her domineering mother (Samantha Sloyan),
After her father’s sudden death, Carrie finds herself contending with the challenges of attending high school, a bullying scandal and the emergence of mysterious telekinetic powers.

Production on Carrie ran from 16 June 2025 through to 17 October 2025. Shooting took place at the Bridge Studios Sound Stage. Flanagan marked the end of production on his Social Media.
Intrepid Pictures, Red Room Pictures and Amazon MGM Studios are producers on the series.
