Ian Bohen To Recur On SUPERMAN & LOIS

Ian Bohen (Yellowstone) is set to join Superman & Lois reuniting with Tyler Hoechlin.

Bohen is perhaps best known for playing the devious Peter Hale on MTV’s hit supernatural show Teen Wolf. Tyler Hoechlin played his nephew Derek Hale before going on to appear in the Arrowverse as Clark Kent/Superman.

Bohen will play Lt. Mitch Anderson, the metaphorical “new sheriff in town” at the DOD. His worldview divides into two types – those you serve and those who serve you. He doesn’t like that Superman exists outside that paradigm and tries to bring the Man of Steel under his authority officially.

In the comics Mitch Anderson is name of superhero called Outburst though it remains to be seen if this is the direction that the show intends to go down. The appearance of Mitch is the first tangible consequence of General Lane stepping down from the DOD. While there was an almost Duty VS family clash Clark and Sam might miss that next season.

Ian Bohen is also known for recurring roles in Chicago P.D. and Major Crimes as well as appearing in film Sicario 2. Bohen originally from Carmel, California can currently be seen on Yellowstone where he plays Ryan.

There is an extended wait for more Superman & Lois as we won’t be seeing the Man of Steel until early 2022. Unless there is a secret crossover appearance on one of the other DC shows. Did you enjoy the first season of Superman & Lois? Where would you place it amongst the DC CW shows?
