
Netflix hit romance Virgin River returns for Season 5 this Fall.

The show will be released in parts, part one consisting of 10 episodes will be released on 7 September 2023. In addition to those episodes fans of series will be treated to holiday episodes released on 30 November.
Virgin River follows Melinda “Mel” Monroe (Alexandra Breckenridge). A nurse and midwife who moves to the small California town from Los Angeles after her husband Mark dies. There she falls for restaurant/bar owner and former marine Jack Sheridan (Martin Henderson) but their romance isn’t always smooth sailing. Season 4 ended with Mel and Jack in a good place: engaged and expecting a baby.
In season 5 surprising new relationships, a shocking break-up, a difficult court trial, a heartbreaking goodbye and a wildfire that threatens the town. Bringing some people of Virgin River together while tearing others apart.
Issues of motherhood push Mel (Alexandra Breckinridge)] to make a big decision about her future at the clinic. Meanwhile her pregnancy unexpectedly sparks an emotional connection to her past. To further prove himself to Mel, Jack (Martin Henderson) squares off with some long-overdue confrontations — with his own demons, and of course, Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley).
It is an adaption of the novels by Robyn Carr, the author also behind Sullivan’s Crossing. The show has proven a runaway success for the streamer staying high on the charts long after season debuts.
