Gen V is headed back to class for a season 2 Amazon Studios have just announced.
The show which is the second spinoff to Prime Video’s rude and raw hit show The Boys. Animated show Diabolical was the first spinoff.
Set in the diabolical world of The Boys, Gen V expands the universe to Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college. Here students train to be the next generation of heroes. Beyond the typical college chaos of finding oneself and partying, these kids are facing explosive situations … literally.
Prime Video aired episode 6 of 8 this week, season one reveals that not everything is at it seems at Godolkin with a group of students exploring a dangerous mystery. The show filmed extensively at the University of Toronto Mississauga campus.

Gen V stars Jaz Sinclair (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Chance Perdomo (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lizze Broadway (Here and Now), Shelley Conn (Bridgerton), Maddie Phillips (Teenage Bounty Hunters), London Thor (Shameless), Derek Luh (Shining Vale), Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger (The Staircase), Sean Patrick Thomas (For All Mankind) and Marco Pigossi (Brazil’s Invisible City).
Marvel’s Agent Carter‘s Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters serve as showrunners on Gen V. They are executive-producers alongside The Boys boss Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Ori Marmur, Pavun Shetty, Ken Levin, Jason Netter, Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson, Craig Rosenberg, Zak Schwartz, Erica Rosbe and Michaela Starr.
