Crave’s first ever original series Letterkenny will return later this year for its 12th and final season.
In the Letterkenny community, different groups and individuals land in odd situations as they constantly fight against each other. The show’s sharp dialogue and quick pace saw the story of small town Canada achieve national and international success. It is based on the web series Letterkenny Problems, a short form series that to date has generated over 21 million views.
The show has won 12 Canadian Screen Awards, been acquired by several international markets including Hulu in the US and generated a spinoff Shoresy. In the UK the show is available to watch through ITV X.
In Season 12, the small town contends with a comedy night at Modean’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, a new nightclub, and an encore at the Ag Hall. And that’s just for starters.
Jared Keeso is executive producer, co-writer, star, and creator. Jacob Tierney is executive producer, director, and co-writer. Mark Montefiore is executive producer and Kara Haflidson is producer for New Metric Media.
Other cast includes Nathan Dales, Michelle Mylett, K. Trevor Wilson, Dylan Playfair, Andrew Herr and Tyler Johnston.
Letterkenny season 12 premieres on December 25 on Crave.
