Tony Shalhoub’s Adrian Monk is back for one last case in Mr. Monk’s Last Case for Peacock.

Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) a brilliant San Francisco-based detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder, returns to solve one last, very personal case involving his beloved step-daughter Molly (Caitlin McGee),, a journalist preparing for her wedding.

Monk ran for 8 seasons and 125 episodes and followed Adrian Monk. Monk was a successful cop in San Francisco whose life falls apart following the death of his wife. He suffers a breakdown and loses his job. Monk then develops obsessive-compulsive disorder and stays in his house for years.

Eventually Monk begins work as a private detective and police consultant with the help of his nurse/assistant. Eight seasons later, Monk solves his biggest case in the series finale: finding out who killed Trudy..

Filming ran from 1 May to 30 May 2023 in Toronto. Andy Breckman is the series creator of Monk as well as a writer/producer.
