DEATH AND OTHER DETAILS Premieres This January

Death And Other Details, Hulu’s new murder mystery series now has a premiere date.

Previously known as Career Opportunities in Murder and Mayhem the show stars Violett Beane (The Flash) and Mandy Patinkin (Criminal Minds).

Set amidst the glamour of the global elite, Death and Other Details centers on the brilliant and restless Imogene Scott (Violett Beane), who finds herself in the wrong place/wrong time (OK, it was kinda her fault) and becomes the prime suspect in a locked room murder mystery.

The setting? A lavishly restored Mediterranean ocean liner. Suspects? Every pampered guest and every exhausted crew member. The problem? To prove her innocence, she must partner with a man she despises—Rufus Cotesworth (Mandy Patinkin), the world’s greatest detective.

Murder mysteries are all the rage right now, Only Murders In The Building and Glass Onion probably being the most well known franchises. It is not yet at the comic book film and tv level but there is certainly a trend

Rounding out the cast is Lauren Patten, Hugo Diego Garcia, Angela Zhou, Rahul Kohli, Pardis Saremi, and Annie Q. Riegel. Despite the Mediterranean cruise setting this series filmed in Vancouver and some shooting in Gibraltar. Shooting ran from 4th August 2022 until 6th December 2022.

The 10-episode series premieres January 16, 2024 with two episodes, then one episode weekly, with a two-episode finale on March 5, 2024.
