CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN MURDER & MAYHEM Starts Filming In Vancouver

Hulu murder mystery Career Opportunities in Murder & Mayhem began filming this month in Vancouver.

The Hulu show stars Mandy Patinkin (Homeland) and Violett Beane (God Friended Me). They play Rufus Cotesworth once the world’s greatest detective and his protégé Imogene. Here’s the synopsis.

How do you solve a murder in a post-fact world? Especially when sailing the Mediterranean on an ocean liner filled with the wealthy and powerful. Everyone on board is hiding something… but is one of them a killer? That’s what the World’s Once Greatest Detective, Rufus Cotesworth (Patinkin), and his protége, Imogene (Beane), aim to discover. The truth at all cost.

The show also stars Lauren Patten (Blue Bloods), Rahul Kohli (Midnight Mass), Angela Zhou (Hell on Wheels), Hugo Diego Garcia, and Pardis Saremi. It consists of 10 hour long episodes. Mike Weiss (Chicago P.D.) and Heidi Cole McAdams (The 100) are the co-showrunners, writers and executive producers. Marc Webb directed the pilot and is also executive producing for Black Lamb.

Patinkin is widely known for his roles in Homeland and Criminal Minds. He played Saul Berenson who was Carrie Mathieson’s boss and mentor in the long running Showtime show. On Criminal Minds he played core BAU team member Jason Gideon.

Beane is known for her roles in God Friended Me and DC’s The Flash where she played a version of speedster Jesse Quick. She has also appeared in The Resident and The Leftovers.
