CALAMITY JANE Reunites Emily Bett Rickards & Stephen Amell

Calamity Jane, a new western set for release next month is reuniting Emily Bett Rickards and Stephen Amell.

Hearing of her lover’s murder, Calamity Jane escapes from prison intent on delivering her own brand of frontier justice. Unfortunately, the sheriff of Deadwood is in her way and equally determined to bring her back in.

The film is loosely based on the stories of legendary historical figures Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickok. Both are known for their sharp shooting skills and adventures in the OId West.

The film stars Emily Bett Rickards, Stephen Amell, Tim Rozon. Terry Miles directs the project. It costars Priscilla Faia, Gage Marsh, Garrett Black, Christian Sloan, Troy Mundle and Spencer Borgeson.

Emily Bett Rickards became a fan favourite playing Arrow’s Felicity Smoak, a show she starred in alongside Stephen Amell for over 150 episodes. She will be next star in biopic Queen of the Ring, a biopic about the first high profile female pro wrestler. Amell himself told his followers that Rickards recruited him for this role. Stephen stars alongside his cousin Robbie Amell in the upcoming Sci-Fi sequel Code 8: Part II.
