Ted Lasso came to the MCM Comic Con Main Stage to celebrate the Apple+ drama in front of a capacity crowd.

Billy Harris, Kola Bokinni, Toheeb Jimoh, Cristo Fernandez, Phil Dunster and Maximillian Osinkski came to ExCel London to meet the fans. Ashley Victoria Robinson (Popverse) moderated the panel asking the questions. During the panel there was also time set aside for fans to ask questions.

Ted Lasso follows an American football coach hired to manage a British soccer team. What he lacks in knowledge, he makes up for in optimism, determination and biscuits. The character is based on one portayed by star Jason Sudeikis from commercials for NBC coverage of the English Premier League.

The show ran on Apple TV+ for 34 episodes over 3 seasons. Winning 12 Prime Time Emmy Awards over that its run including Outstanding Comedy Series.

As someone outside of the fandom it was easy to see the enthusiasm both the fans and that cast had. The guests on stage authentically felt like a team who had been together caging all odds for quite some time. The passion of the fans came through in their questions and thanks.
