UPLOAD Final Season Shooting Begins Next Month

Robbie Amell (Code 8: Part II)will be back in Vancouver next month for Upload Final Season filming.

Season 4 will be a shortened season filmed over the course of a month. Still this seems within the plans of the show’s creator according to this quite:

“When I conceived Upload many years ago, I had the story arced out over four seasons.”

The show is set in the near future, when people can pay to be digitally uploaded to a virtual afterlife like the pricey Lakeview resort.

In Upload Season Three, we pick back up with Nora and freshly downloaded Nathan as they navigate their relationship. While racing to stop the mysterious conspiracy that threatens to destroy millions of lives. Can they shut down Freeyond, and finally have a real life together? Or is it just a matter of time until Nathan’s head explodes?

Meanwhile, in Lakeview, a backup copy of Nathan has been activated and Ingrid’s not about to let this second chance at love slip away. Back in the real world, Aleesha rises through the ranks of Horizen by managing AI education, and falls into a new romantic relationship. And Luke, all alone in Lakeview, is forced to come up with the funds to pay for his stay in paradise, driving him to work in The Grey Zone.

The show stars Andy Allo, Robbie Amell, Allegra Edwards, Zainab Johnson, Kevin Bigley, Joshua Banday, Owen Daniels, Andrea Rosen.

Upload Final Season will begin filming on 26 August 2024 and continue through 27 September 2024. Greg Daniels is the showrunner on the project. Daniels and Howard Klein serve as executive producers.
