Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) has been announced as the star of The Boys prequel Vought Rising.

The news came during the Boys panel at San Diego Comic Con. This new series will be set at the beginning of the era of superheroes in 1950s.
“It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought. We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V.”
So as you read above Ava Cash who played Stormfront will return in the new series. Stormfront debuted in the second season of The Boys and went on to appear in season three.

Jensen Ackles is going to be a very busy man this year. With a role confirmed next season on The Boys and return as a guest star on hit series Tracker as Shaw’s brother. Also he will star in another show on Prime Video a thriller called Countdown. In the action show he will play an LAPD officer who joins a secret task force to investigate a murder.
