Star Trek: Starfleet Academy made an appearance at San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) this weekend.

The latest title in the current Star Trek universe will follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets. It follows as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. The series will introduce viewers to this young group of cadets as they come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they will discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself.
Star Trek: Starfleet Academy occurs in the same time as Star Trek: Discovery in the 31st century.
Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, George Hawkins, Karim Diané and Zoë Steiner are the new recruits joining the academy. Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti will star in the project.
Check out the moment the young cast were told they were cast.
Production will begin on Star Trek: Starfleet Academy next month in a new purpose built stage at Toronto Pinewood Studios. Check back with us for more coverage of San Diego Comic Con 2024.
