Time to take a bite out of crime with Jazz Ramsey: A K-9 Mystery a new Hallmark mystery starring Rachel Skarsten and Corey Sevier.

While running a demonstration with one of her crime-sensing dog trainees, Jazz uncovers a murder victim on the deserted third floor of the school. Jazz’s demonstration quickly becomes a crime scene, swarming with cops.

Meanwhile, Detective Nick Kolesov (Sevier) is the head of the major crimes unit, a dedicated investigator, as well as Jazz’s ex-boyfriend. He is tasked with investigating the murder, and as an alumnus of the school, Nick brings Jazz into the case to utilize her expertise and her dogs to help gather evidence.

Suspects start to pile up while they investigate the death of the victim, an unpopular and overly strict teacher. But who would want the teacher dead?  Jazz and Nick along with her canine partner, Zeus, will stop at nothing to find the truth.

Zarrin Darnell-Martin (Ginny & Georgia), Sergio Di Zio (Flashpoint) as Michael Ramsey and Fuad Ahmed (Covert Affairs) appear.  Meanwhile, Lara Arabian (The Handmaid’s Tale), Kip Brown (Killjoys) and Atish Salehi also star.

On Location

The film is based on the novel The Secret of Bones: A Jazz Ramsey Mystery by Kylie Logan. Beth Stevenson, Nancy Yeaman, and Stan Hum serve as executive producers, with Peter Durst as an associate producer. Marco Deufemia directs the feature with Jessica Reis producing. Neale K Kimmel wrote the script.

Filmng took place in the Greater Toronto area during the April 2024. Some of the local landmarks you may recognise are the Humber Bay Arch Bridge, First Canadian Place, and The St. Regis Toronto.
