A Sprinkle of Deceit the new Hanna Swensen mystery will premiere next month. It is the tenth instalment in the long running Hannah Swensen/Murder She Baked series
Alison Sweeney and Victor Webster star in the cozy mystery series about a crime solving baker. Webster is new to the series as the current potential love interest. He plays Chad Norton Lake Eden’s new prosecuting attorney. These two have appeared in a number of movies and shows together previously. You might recognise the pair from the hit Hallmark series The Wedding Veil or if you’re a TV watching veteran like myself Days of Our Lives.
“Bringing Victor in and kind of building this role for him was the opportunity to mix things up and really bring Chad in as a completely different dynamic than what Hannah’s used to, what the audience is used to, and create a new chemistry between Hannah and Chad that hasn’t been there before,” Sweeney previously told TV Insider. “Also, just playing off Victor. He’s good in any role, but I think he has a really fun time in this playing a tough guy who keeps his feelings on the inside. That was sort of the idea in creating this character. He’s not humoring Hannah the way everyone else in town does.”
The premiere of A Sprinkle Of Deceit: A Hannah Swensen Mystery is on Friday, October 4, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Mystery.
