MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS Season 2 Filming In Alberta

YA novel turned hit Netflix series My Life With The Walter Boys is currently filming season 2 in Alberta.

Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez), loses her entire family in a tragic accident. She finds herself moving from the busy streets of Manhattan to a small town in rural Colorado, where she went to live with her new guardian… and very rowdy boys.

Jackie ended up torn between two Walter boys — the quiet and bookish Alex (Ashby Gentry) who’s a rodeo rider and the charismatic but troubled Cole (Noah LaLonde), whose dreams of a football scholarship are shattered by a ski injury.

This may seem like a well-worn love triangle theme but viewers took to the show in a big way. Evidence of that comes in 10 week stay on the Netflix Global Top 10 (English language) when it launched last December. Over on Nielsen’s Top 10 Originals Streaming chart it amassed over 1 billion minutes watched. Nielsen monitors US viewing habits.

The show stars Niki Rodriguez, Ashby Gentry, Noah LaLonde, Marcus Blucas, Sarah Rafferty, Connor Stanhope, Johnny Link, Corey Fogelmanis, Dean Petriw, Lennix James, Alix West Lefler, Isaac Arellanes,, Myles Perez, Zoë Soul, Alisha Newton, Jaylan Evans, Ashley Holliday Tavares, Moheb Jindran, Ellie O’Brien, Mya Lowe, Gabrielle Jacinto, Nathaniel Arcand and Alex Quijano.

Filming in Alberta runs from 22 July 2024 until 15 November 2024.

Sony Pictures and Netflix produce My Life With The Walter Boys. Melanie Halsall serves as showrunner and actor/director Jason Priestley will direct episodes.
