Camila Morrone & Adam DiMarco Join Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen

Camila Morrone (Daisy Jones & The Six) and Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus) will star as leads in the new horror drama from the Duffer brothers for Netflix – Something Very Bad Is About To Happen.

Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen is an atmospheric horror series set at a wedding, following a bride and groom in the week leading up to their ill-fated nuptials. Not a lot of details but it sounds pretty bad.

The Duffer Brothers created Netflix breakout hit Stranger Things, and will be executive producers on the project. They are currently working on the final season of the show with filming having wrapped in December.

Haley Z. Boston created Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen and will be showrunner on the project.

Additional Cast

Jennifer Jason Leigh (Fargo), Ted Levine (Big Sky), Gus Birney (Shining Vale), Jeff Wilbusch (Unorthodox), Karla Crome (Lazarus) and Zlatko Burić (Triangle of Sadness) are also joining the cast of the upcoming horror series.

Something Very Bad Is About To Happen

Here is what the Duffer Brothers had to say:

The siblings are also creative producers on the Olivier Award-winning West End production Stranger Things: The First Shadow. In 2022, they announced the launch of Upside Down Pictures with Hilary Leavitt. The company’s first project, the upcoming original Netflix series The Boroughs, begins production in the fall.
