You heard it right; a Supernatural reunion is coming to The Boys Final Season with Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins.

For those not in the know, Eric Kripke showrunner on The Boys also served as showrunner on Supernatural, one of the most successful sci-fi/fantasy of the last 25 years. Jensen Ackles starred in Supernatural and appears in The Boys as Soldier Boy. Previously Supernatural veterans Jim Beaver and Jeffrey Dean Morgan had roles on the show.
Ackles will also star in The Boys spinoff Vought Rising alongside Aya Cash. The spinoff is set in the 1950s before Vought became the towering mega corporation at the centre of almost everything superhero related.
Social media posts from Jensen confirmed the casting news rumoured for months. See that very post below.
The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes – who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods – abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good.
Intent on stopping the corrupt superheroes, The Boys, a group of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought – the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. It is the seemingly powerless against the super-powerful.
The Boys is an adaption of best-selling graphic novel of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. Robertson and Ennis serve as executive showrunners with Kripke serving as showrunner. It is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.
Are you looking forward to seeing Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins in The Boys.
