READY OR NOT 2 Begins Filming Next Month In Toronto

Cult hit sequel Ready or Not 2 is set to begin filming in Toronto next month with Samara Weaving returning.

The first film followed a young bride (Weaving) as she joined her new husband’s (Mark O’Brien) rich, eccentric family (Adam Brody, Henry Czerny, Andie MacDowell) in a time-honored tradition that turned into a lethal game with everyone fighting for their survival.

It received positive reviews from critics and grossed $57.6 million worldwide against a $6 million budget. Radio Silence production produced the original and are producing the sequel.

Kathryn Newton has joined the cast. This will be her second project with Radio Silence Productions, they worked together on 2024 horror Abigail. Newton starred in Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and is also known for Netflix supernatural drama The Society.

Filming for the Ready or Not 2 will run from 21 April 2025 through to 30 May 2025.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett are directing the project. Searchlight VP Production Richard Ruiz and Creative Executive Cornelia Burleigh are covering the project for the studio. They report to Production and Development co-heads DanTram Nguyen and Katie Goodson-Thomas.
