Netflix live action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender is pressing ahead with filming Season 2 and Season 3 back to back.

Season 3 will begin production next month in Vancouver, it is currently filming in Iceland.
Aang (Gordon Cormier) the last Airbender and his friends Katara (Kiawentiio) and Sokka (Ian Ousley) from the Water Tribe must save the world by defeating Fire Lord Ozai (Daniel Dae Kim) and ending the destructive war with the Fire Nation.
Season one ended with Aang and his companions stopping the Fire Nation — led by Prince Zuko (Dallas Lee) , his uncle Iroh (Paul Sun-Hyung Lee),and Commander Zhao (Ken Leung) — from destroying the Northern Water Tribe, but it was a distraction from the larger war.
Zuko’s sister, Princess Azula (Elizabeth Yu), conquered Omashu, one of the two Earth Kingdom cities that had managed to stave off the Fire Nation and took King Bumi (Utkarsh Ambudkar) prisoner.
Open casting call from earlier this month for Asian performers Port Moody’s Flavelle Mill. Filming takes place in Iceland and Vancouver. Vancouver filming ran from 25 June 2025 through to 7 November 2025.
