Wild Cards Season 3 will return in January, with production wrapping this month.

However cast and crew are already back it as the production is filming Season 3 and Season 4 back to back.
A spirited con woman Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan) and a demoted by-the-book detective Cole Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti) are given the chance to redeem themselves. The catch? They must find a way to work together each using their unique skills to solve crimes.
Wild Cards Season 3 picks up one month after the season 2 finale with con woman Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan) working as an official police consultant.
Her world is immediately upended by two arrivals:
First, Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti) returns to the force, cleared of all charges and ready to be her partner again.
Second, the woman at Max’s door [in the season 2 finale] is revealed to be her long-lost mother, Vivienne (Tamara Taylor) — who Max believed was dead. Vivienne’s shocking return ignites the dangerous, high-stakes events of season three and further upends Max’s already complicated relationship with Ellis.
Over the course of the season, Max must navigate her complicated relationship with Vivienne while simultaneously growing closer to Ellis.
Wild Cards takes place and films across Vancouver. Filming for Season 3 ran from 27 August until 21 November 2025. Then cast and crew were back to start Season 4 filming on 24 November 2025. Filming will continue until 16 March 2026.
Michael Konyves serves as showrunner on the show.
The show stars Vanessa Morgan, Giacomo Gianniotti, Terry Chen, Fletcher Donovan, Jason Priestley, Tamara Taylor.
Wild Cards Season 3 premieres on 7th January on CBC.
