FX series Cry Wolf has set its filming schedule for next year in Toronto.

Cry Wolf is a psychological family thriller following a social worker, Kath (Olivia Colman), and a mother, April (Brie Larson), thrust into crisis when the mother’s teen daughter, Mia, Alyvia Alyn Lind) alleges abuse from her stepfather (Shawn Hatosy), pushing both women to their limits as they navigate an impossible situation.
This series is an adaptation of the Danish series Ulven Kommer. The original 8-episode series is a multi-award winning drama from 2020. It starred Bjarne Henriksen, Flora Ofelia Hofmann Lindahl and Christine Albeck Børge.
Cry Wolf stars Olivia Colman, Brie Larson, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Shawn Hatosy.
Colman recently starred in dark comedy The Roses alongside Benedict Cumberbatch. It is an adaptation of the classic comedy The War of The Roses from 1989. Larson will soon be seen in the Super Mario sequel where she provides the voice of Rosalina. Lind appeared in Netflix thriller Wayward and also starred in horror series Chucky based on the popular franchise. Hatosy appeared in new hit medical drama The Pitt on MAX.
Filming will run from 9 February 2026 through to 22 May 2026 and take place in Toronto. Sarah Treem is the showrunner on the project. Special Interests and FX productions are the producers on the limited series.
