Netflix has a new YA adaptation set to come out next week in the form of Finding Her Edge.

Finding Her Edge is set in the world of competitive ice skating and centers on three sisters who must navigate the pressures of their family’s figure skating legacy, which is facing financial ruin if the sisters don’t become champions like their parents.
The pressure is on to succeed in this high-stress environment and compete in the World Figure Skating Championships, which is the most prestigious annual event for singles, pairs, and ice dancers.
The eight episode series is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Jennifer Iacopelli. The book got to No. 1 on Amazon’s Teen & Young Adult Winter Sports Fiction category in both 2025 and 2026.

The series stars Madelyn Keys (A Mother’s Life), Harmon Walsh (Gossip Girl), Alexandra Beaton (Overcompensating), Cale Ambrozic (Hotel Cocaine) Olly Atkins (Percy Jackson and The Olympians), Meredith Forlenza (Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent), Alice Malakhov (Anne With an E), Niko Ceci (I Woke Up a Vampire) and Millie Davis (The Umbrella Academy).
Shamim Sarif (You) and Jacqueline Pepall (Horrible Histories) are the series’ directors. Shelley Scarrow (Wynnona Earp) is on board as head writer, alongside Sabrina Sherif (Wild Cards), Norton and Pepall.
Other executive producers are WildBrain’s Josh Scherba, Stephanie Betts and Angela Boudreault.
The show filmed extensively across Simcoe County, Ontario. Here are some of the confirmed shooting locations:
