Vought Rising has completed filming in Toronto and now heads to post production.
Star Jensen Ackles took to social media to announce that filming was reaching its end. The Supernatural star also gave us a look at the classic Soldier Boy outfit. Here is the clip:
This is what we know about the plot of the show.
It’s a twisted murder mystery about the origins of Vought in the 1950s, the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought. We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V. — Eric Kripke & Paul Grellong.
Fans of The Boys will recognise Soldier Boy (Ackles) and Stormfront aka Clara Vought (Aya Cash). The two both took early versions of Compound V, which grants them near immortality in addition to their powers.
We will be meeting a new group of the early superheroes in the forms of Bombsight (Mason Dye), Torpedo (Will Hochman) and Private Angel (Elizabeth Posey).

Filming on the prequel took place in Toronto and ran from 18 August 2026 to 11 March 2026.
The Boys final season will debut with its first two episodes on 8 April 2026. We don’t have a date for Vought Rising’s premiere and the fate of Gen V is still up in the air.
