5 Vancouver Productions Filming in April

The Film and TV industry stays still for no one so as we march into April let’s take a look at productions currently shooting in Vancouver.

Things are perhaps starting to settle down in the film and tv industry and metro Vancouver is once again host to a number of productions. Let’s take a look at them.

Yellowjackets

The critically acclaimed drama about a high school soccer team that survive a plane crash and the very damaged adults they grow into. The show is in the midst of filming season four with production having begun on 25 February 2026 through to 30 July 2026. The cast includes Christina Ricci, Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, and Sophie Nélisse.

Wild Cards

Wild Cards, the detective and con artist crime fighting team up has gone from strength to strength since its premiere on CBC. Vanessa Morgan and Giacomo Gianotti star as the mismatched pair. The show is proud of its Vancouver setting and shows off the city well.

Murder in a Small Town

Adapted from L.R. Wright’s acclaimed Alberg and Cassandra Mysteries Murder In A Small Town is going from strength to strength. Rossif Sutherland, Kristin Kreuk star. The second season saw more time being spent on Cassandra’s storyline while tying the two together well. Filming on the mystery series run from 20 February 2026 to 2 June 2026.

Anything But Ghosts

The new horror from Curry Baker and Cooper Tomlinson will complete filming in April. The pair established a successful YouTube channel “That’s A Bad Idea” before moving on to film. Learn more about the upcoming film here.

Phony

In this TV show set for Hulu a young man wakes up from an accident to find a woman claiming to be his mother who has never seen before. Connie Britton (Nashville) and rising talent Sam Nivola (The White Lotus) star in this thriller. It began filming on 20 March 2026 and will run until 22 May 2026.
