Hollywood North News at MCM London Comic Con 2026 — Here's What We're Covering

MCM London Comic Con returns to ExCeL London from 22–24 May 2026. Hollywood North News will be there on the ground.

MCM Comic Con is the UK’s biggest celebration of pop culture, drawing over 100,000 fans across three days. This year’s show features a guest lineup that crosses every corner of film, television, gaming, and comics. We’re going to be covering it all.

Firefly’s Finest — and a Very Big Announcement

The headline that has had Browncoats buzzing: Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk are reuniting at MCM London. The two will appear on Saturday and Sunday for panels, photo ops, and autographs. Fillion (Captain Malcolm Reynolds) and Tudyk (Hoban “Wash” Washburne) helped cement Firefly’s place as one of the most beloved cult classics in science fiction history. The two stayed close ever since, including their convention-circuit web series Con Man.

What makes their MCM appearance more than a nostalgia trip: a Firefly animated series is currently in development, with the original cast expected to reprise their roles. The announcement broke at Awesome Con in Washington D.C. in March. This London panel will be one of the first major opportunities for fans to hear more. We will be there covering the story.

A Clone Wars Reunion for the Ages

Six cast members from Star Wars: The Clone Wars are attending all three days of the show, making this one of the most significant Clone Wars reunions in recent memory. Confirmed guests include Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker), James Arnold Taylor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Nika Futterman (Asajj Ventress), Catherine Taber (Padmé Amidala), Dee Bradley Baker (the Clone Troopers), and Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano).

A special panel takes place on Friday, available to Friday Priority and Weekend Ticket holders. Hollywood North News will be there for it.

Renowned high fantasy author Brandon Sanderson was the first guest announced for MCM Comic Con London 2026. Sanderson is the author behind the highly-acclaimed Cosmere fictional universe, in which most of his fantasy novels, including The Stormlight Archive, Tress of the Emerald Sea and Mistborn, are set. His next short fiction collection, Tailored Realities, releases this December.

Sanderson is one of the 21st century’s most prolific contemporary high fantasy authors, having written over 70 books and sold over 45 million copies worldwide. His panel wil take place on Saturday and Hollywood North News will be there.
