Bell Media has announced its 2026-27 slate of English original content.

The announcement brings the total to 118 titles when combined with 56 French-language projects revealed earlier this week. The Bell Media 2026-27 slate spans scripted drama, comedy, unscripted competition, and documentary across Crave and CTV.
Big Brother Canada Returns
One of the headline announcements is the return of Big Brother Canada. Hosted by Andrea Bain, the series heads to Montréal for production in Spring 2027. It will air on both CTV and Crave.
The Littlest Hobo Gets a New Life
A reimagining of the beloved Canadian classic The Littlest Hobo is in development at Crave. The live-action drama is the first project from Bell Media’s partnership with Lionsgate and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s Point Grey Pictures. The original series ran on CTV from 1979 to 1985.
Sullivan’s Crossing Universe Expands
CTV has renewed Sullivan’s Crossing for a fifth season. The network has also greenlit a companion series. Thunder Point is adapted from Robyn Carr’s New York Times bestselling novels and comes from the same producing team behind Virgin River and Sullivan’s Crossing.
Jared Keeso Has Two New Shows
Keeso is back with not one but two new Crave Originals. I Kill the Bear is a comedy about a family of bear wranglers on a film set. Cats in the Plateau follows two Montréal garbage men who decide to start a gang. Both are produced by New Metric Media.
Freddie Highmore Stars in New Crave Drama
I’m Not Here to Hurt You is a new drama created by David Shore (House, The Good Doctor) and Freddie Highmore. Highmore stars as an upstanding family man who accidentally kills someone and spirals into a life of crime. The series is inspired by the true story of Ireland’s most polite bank robber. It is the first co-commission between Sony Pictures Television and Bell Media.
More New Scripted Series
The Bell Media 2026-27 slate includes several other new scripted titles. Meatballs is a coming-of-age comedy series reimagining the 1979 Canadian cult film, starring Robbie G.K. Bulges, starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, follows the eccentric staff of an all-male restaurant in Niagara Falls. The Hidden Keys is a mystery thriller based on a Giller Prize-winning novel by André Alexis. Yaga, starring Carrie-Anne Moss and Noah Reid, is a mystery thriller already previously announced. And Seoul Palace dramatises the founding of Toronto’s iconic Lee’s Palace music venue.
A Strong Unscripted and Documentary Lineup
The Bell Media 2026-27 slate leans heavily into true crime and sports documentary. New docuseries include Dead of Winter, revisiting the still-unsolved murders of Barry and Honey Sherman; Nose Deep, about former Canadian Olympian Ryan Wedding’s descent into drug trafficking; and Epstein: A Case for Murder, which argues Jeffrey Epstein did not die by suicide.
Hockey content gets its own mini-slate. Jay Baruchel executive produces Blood on the Ice, examining violence in Canada’s national sport. Canada Cup ’87: The Cold War on Ice revisits a pivotal moment in hockey history. If Stanley Could Talk is a two-part documentary told through the perspective of the Stanley Cup itself. Jonathan Toews also gets his own feature-length documentary.
On the competition side, Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars launches with Brooke Lynn Hytes, Priyanka, and Jimbo as the first all-drag judging panel in Drag Race history.
Returning Series
Previously announced series arriving in 2026 include I Kill the Bear, Snooki: The Paranormal Rookie, Temptations Under the Sun: Cyprus, and Canada’s Drag Race: All Stars. Returning originals include Shoresy (Season 6), Canada’s Drag Race (Season 7), Project Runway Canada (Season 2), and The Rebuild: Inside the Montreal Canadiens (Season 3). CTV also confirmed new seasons of The Traitors Canada, MasterChef Canada, The Amazing Race Canada, and Acting Good.
