The Mandalorian Cast At MCM Comic Con 2024

On the first day of the UK’s biggest pop culture con we got the chance to sit down with some of the cast of Disney+ hit show The Mandalorian.

Emily Swallow, Brendan Wayne and Tait Fletcher spoke to the gathered press about the experiences on their hit Star Wars as well as their experiences meeting their fans.

The Mandalorian takes place five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a lone bounty hunter that finds himself protecting a force sensitive child from the remnant forces of the Empire.

The show has run for three seasons and has recently confirmed that a feature film The Mandalorian and Grogu is in development. That feature has creator Jon Favreau on as director and is expected to debut in May 2026. The show is a multiple Primetime Emmy Award winner as well as earning positive reviews from fans and critics alike.

The assembled press had a range of questions including favourite lines and the legacy of playing such iconic characters. You can see the panel below.

Fans of the The Mandalorian have numerous chances over the weekend to interact with the stars whether it is photo shoots or getting autographs. Finally on Sunday the Mandalorian stars will take to the Main Stage to answer fan questions and talk about the Star Wars franchise
