On the first day of MCM Comic Con fans got to see author Holly Jackson on the Creator Stage.
The author is in attendance at the UK’s biggest pop culture event to promote the upcoming adaption of her YA mystery bestseller A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder.
The Spotlight panel focused more on the author’s work than the upcoming BBC3 show. We learned about the challenges of setting your stories in another country as well as peculiar naming trends that she has picked up. Throughout the discussion the author was impressed and drew attention to some of the many attendees who come to MCM Comic Con in Cosplay.
Jackson’s new book is The Reappearance of Rachel Price, we learned what inspired her to write it. She also spoke about why she sets stories in the US instead of the UK with a funny story from her travels.
