MCM Comic London – Are These The Big Three Events

MCM Comic Con London is a little over a month away so let’s break down what could be the three biggest events at the UK’s largest fan experience.

MCM Comic Con London returns to ExCeL London this October, and Hollywood North News will be there. The October edition runs from Friday 23rd through Sunday 25th October 2026. Friday and Saturday tickets have both reach 90% ticket sales or more as I write this.

Critical Role

The event that will kick off the weekend in a major way will be the Critical Role panel. At 11.00 on Friday morning Matthew Mercer, Ashley Johnson, Taliesin Jaffe, Laura Bailey, Travis Wellingham, Sam Riegel, Marisha Ray and Liam O’Brien will take to the Main Stage to talk all things Exandria. Hopefully there will be time to take questions from what is likely to be at capacity Main Stage. The panel also being broadcasted at other stages across the Con.

The Critical Role team will also be available for autographs and photo ops over the weekend. The appearance ties neatly into the O2’s *Echoes of Exandria* live tour date on 26th October, giving UK fans a full weekend of Critical Role content.

World Cosplay Summit — Team UK Qualifier Crowns Its Champions

Throughout the year cosplayers from around the world, compete to qualify for the World Cosplay Summit Final in Nagoya, Japan in November 2027. MCM Comic Con London sees the UK’s cosplayers take to the stage to compete for a qualifying spot. At the Team UK Qualifier, a pair of cosplayers will be selected to compete in Nagoya.

The Grand Final for SFL EMEAA will take place on the 24th of October 2026 at the Side Quest Arena during MCM London Comic Con. GTW enters as the No. 1 seed after topping the standings, with a direct bye to the Grand Finals. Red Dunes, MVS and YESPORTS will battle through the bracket to meet them, with the winner earning a spot at the Street Fighter League World Championship 2026 in Tokyo next March. It is a rare chance for UK fans to watch top-tier SF6 esports live, free with a show ticket.
