THE FLASH – Three OG Stars Sign New Contracts

While we’ve known for awhile that we had a season 8 of the Flash we’ve now confirmed that three more of the cast will join Grant Gustin.

Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker and Jesse Martin have all extended their contracts until season 8 joining series lead Grant Gustin. The CW hasn’t said that season 8 will be the final season. Though with Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh having left this season it is a question hanging in the air.

Patton plays Iris West-Allen editor of the Central City Citizen, daughter of Joe and wife to Barry Allen. Panabaker performs double duty playing Dr. Caitlin Frost and metahuman villain turned vigilante Killer Frost. This season will see the 150th episode of The Flash which will feature a host of returning characters including Barry and Iris’ two children Nora and Bart.
