THE IMPERFECTS – Netflix Sci-Fi Show Wraps Filming

The Imperfects a new Sci-Fi series from Netflix has wrapped up filming its first season in Vancouver.

What Is The Imperfects About

The drama revolves around three twenty-somethings who, following an experimental gene therapy, are turned into monsters who band together to hunt down the scientist responsible and force him to make them human again. Dr. Sydney Burke, a brilliant scientist looking to fix her past mistakes, both professional and ethical, allies with Abbi, Juan and Tilda to track down the scientist responsible for their grim fates. Meanwhile, Dr. Alex Sarkov, a former child prodigy, refuses to let anyone or anything interfere with his goal of rewriting the human genome and ushering in the next stage of human evolution.

Heading up the cast of this super powered show is Italia Ricci probably best known for her role in Designated Survivor as Emily Rhodes.

She has also starred in Chasing Life, here she plays Dr. Sydney Burke, a brilliant scientist looking to fix her past mistakes, both professional and ethical, by allying with Abbi, Juan and Tilda to track down the scientist responsible for their grim fates.

Meet The Cast

Morgan Taylor Campbell is Tilda Weber, lead singer of a punk band who develops super-hearing and a destructive vocal power, giving her abilities similar to a Banshee.⁣ Rhianna Jagpal is Abbi Singh, a geneticist whose overpowering pheromones give her a Succubus-like control over anyone around her. ⁣

Iñaki Godoy is Juan Ruiz, an aspiring graphic novelist who transforms into a beast he identifies as a Chupacabra.⁣
⁣Rhys Nicholson is Dr. Alex Sarkov, a former child prodigy and the scientist who won’t let anyone stop him from rewriting the human genome and ushering in the next stage of human evolution.⁣

Kyra Zagorsky is Isabel Finch, who has her own reasons for finding Dr. Alex Sarkov and if she gets vengeance then Tilda, Abbi and Juan may never get rid of their monstrous identities. Celina Martin is Hannah Moore, a former test subject of Sarkov and Burke’s experimental gene treatment, who finds her allegiance torn between Tildea, Abbi, Juan and Finch.⁣
