Brennan Elliott signs new multi-picture deal with Crown Media, the company behind the Hallmark networks.
Elliott is a Hallmark veteran appearing regularly on both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. He began his Crown Media Family Networks (the parent company of Hallmark) career back in 2013. That debut role was as Warren Saget in primetime series Cedar Cove. More recently he starred in Hallmark films The Perfect Pairing and Open By Christmas. Arguably his most popular role is alongside Lacey Chabert in Crossword Mysteries series of films.
Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Programming, Crown Media Family Networks released the following statement:
“Brennan brings tremendous talent and charisma to every role, he’s a joy to work with and we look forward to collaborating with him on new movies we know our viewers will fall in love with.”
Elliott himself seems very happy with the new deal:
“It’s been a dream to have worked with the wonderfully creative and supportive team at Hallmark over the years. I’m thrilled to continue this relationship that’s meant so much to me and have the opportunity to bring to life new characters and tell stories that will make people smile.”
This seems to be part of a concerted move by Crown Media to secure their stars long term. This is following some high profile departures to GAC (Great American Country). Lacey Chabert and Heather Hemmens have also recently signed new deals at Crown Media.
Those high profile departures include Danica McKellar who signed an exclusive deal with GAC as well as Jessica Lowndes, Jen Liley and Trevor Donovan who signed multi-picture deals.
Are you, like us in hoping this means more Crossword Mysteries going forward?
