Netflix Thriller THE NIGHT AGENT Releases New Trailer

Political thriller adaption The Night Agent starring Gabriel Basso and Luciane Buchanan has released a new trailer.

Inspired by Matthew Quirk’s novel, The Night Agent follows low-level FBI agent, Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso). He works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings. Until the night that it does, pulling him into a conspiracy that ultimately leads to the Oval Office.

Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) is a young tech CEO who’s fallen on hard times and retreats to her aunt and uncle’s house to take stock of her life. When assassins come for her aunt and uncle, she quickly learns they weren’t who they seemed to be and finds herself with Peter, both of them running for their lives.

The show filmed in Vancouver last year between February and June.

The Netflix political thriller stars Gabriel Basso, Luciane Buchanan, Hong Chau, DB Woodside, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Eve Harlow, Phoenix Raei, Enrique Murciano and Sarah Desjardins. Shawn Ryan (S.W.A.T.) is the showrunner

Gabriel Basso plays Peter Sutherland and Luciane Buchanan plays Rose Larkin. Fola Evans-Akingbola is the head of the Vice-President’s daughter’s security detail Chelsea Arrington. Eve Harlow is the unpredictable killer Ellen with Phoenix Rael as Ellen’s partner Dale. Enrique Murciano is the head of the White House’s Secret Service detail Ben Almora. Sarah Desjardins is the Vice-President’s teen daughter Maddie Redfield.

Shawn Ryan, Seth Gordon, Middkid Productions, Exhibit A Entertainment, Project X, Sunset Lane Media, Sony Television are the producers on the project.

The Night Agent releases on 23 March 2023 on Netflix.
