HALLMARK MOVIES & MYSTERIES June Slate

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will be bringing some mystery to the start of your summer with two new mysteries.

The first new mystery feature is The Dancing Detective: A Deadly Tango. Starring Hallmark veteran Lacey Chabert who signed an exclusive deal with the network, alongside Will Kemp (Christmas Waltz).

Chabert stars as Constance Bailey, a no-nonsense detective who prefers to work alone. When a high-profile CEO is murdered on the eve of his company’s corporate event in Malta – a high stakes ballroom competition between senior executives – Detective Bailey is sent undercover as one of the contestants. She finds herself teaming up with Sebastian Moore for a crash course in dancing”

Aurora Teagarden: Something New takes the beloved amateur sleuth in a whole new direction. The movie stars Skyler Samuels (The Gifted) as Aurora and Evan Roderick as Arthur. A prequel, this shows us the Charlaine Harris heroine as a young adult, check out the synopsis:

After college, Aurora Teagarden (Samuels) returns home to Lawrenceton to be near her mother, Aida (Henner). While working as a teacher’s assistant in a crime fiction class, Aurora struggles to decide on her thesis for her post-graduate degree. However, to support her schooling and herself, Aurora also waitresses at a local diner at night. There, she shares her love of researching true crime with her friend Sally and police officer Arthur (Roderick).
