The CW has taken the decision to cancel Kung Fu after three seasons.
Kung Fu was very loosely based on the classic series of the same name. In this updated version we follow Nicky Shen, a young Chinese-American woman returns to her family after an absence spent in a isolated monastery in China. She finds her family changed and her hometown overrun with corruption and crime. Using her martial arts skills and Shaolin values to protect her community. As she mends fences with her family she also searches for the assassin who her killed her master.
