Amazon Studios’ Reacher resumed filming season 3 following the pausing of industrial action of the SAG AFTRA strike.
Previously adapted into two blockbusters starring Tom Cruise, the current project is a series which is closer adaption of the best selling books by Lee Child. The show shoots across locations in Hamilton and Toronto.
Alan Ritchson portrays the larger than life veteran as he moves across America finding himself drawn into dangerous situations. Often the only thing that stands between the innocent and sinister forces.
Season 2 will air next month here’s the synopsis:
Reacher is pulled from his vagabond life by a coded message informing him that a member of the 110th – his elite group of Army Special Investigators – has been murdered. He and some of his former military cohorts reunite to investigate and soon realize the case is bigger than they ever could have imagined.
Season 3 of Reacher is based on book 9 – One Shot. However currently that is still a rumour.
Season 1 was a huge success for Prime Video, it was the first from the streamer to top the Nielsen ratings. The shooting schedule began this week and runs from 20 November 2203 until 29 March 2024.
Lee Child, Skydance Television and Paramount Television produces with Amazon Studios.
