Sleuthers can look forward to three new Hallmark Mysteries to warm their winter nights it has emerged.
You should be familiar with two of the upcoming movies True Justice: Family Ties and Gilded Newport Mysteries: Murder At The Breakers. The newly announced addition is Crimetime: Freefall. Sleuthers have seen a large uptick in the offering of new mystery serie. This follows the cancellation of the majority of the previous generation of long running mystery series. However at the same time as this wealth of choice only one of the new mysteries has seen further instalments.

True Justice: Family Ties
Casey (McNamara), a law school student, is on a mission to prove her brother Marcus (Sam Ashe Arnold, Are You Afraid of the Dark?) was wrongfully convicted of murdering her friend from college. Casey turns to her classmates Eli (Tarisuk), Sarah (Marisa McIntyre, Chucky), PJ (Sabrina Saudin, The Boys) and their P.I. friend Liam to help find the real killer. With a tip from her Professor (DeLoach), Casey and her friends begin to put pieces together, but the closer they get to discovering the truth, the more they ALL begin to question their own safety.
True Justice: Family Ties premieres on Friday 12 January at 9 pm EST, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Gilded Newport Mysteries
It’s July 1895 and the New York elite have decamped to Newport, Rhode Island for a summer of balls, garden parties, and yacht races. Covering these events for the women’s pages of the Newport Observer is Emma Vanderbilt-Cross. She’s a fearless twenty-one-year-old writer with family ties to the wealthy Vanderbilt family. CrimeTime: Freefall
Hallmark have announced new mystery CrimeTime: Freefall and its principal cast. Lyndie Greenwood (Sleepy Hollow) and Luke Macfarlane (Notes of Autumn) will star in this story that follows crime series actress Hadley Warner retires to a small town where she encounters her first real case. Using her TV crime knowledge, she teams up with Detective Shawn Caden to solve the case.
CrimeTime: Freefall premieres on Friday, 23 February at 9 pm EST on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
